Well love them or hate them they are proven fish killers, developed by English International angler Paul McLindon they have proved to be one of the most sucessful stillwater patterns, however the modern day blob is somewhat different from the original, but they are still extremely potent, and account for a huge number of fish every season, some angles swear that the best way to fish them is as fast as you can, others will tell you a slow figure of eight is the best method so try them and see for yourself.
